What the record shows
Treasury reports nearly 70 million Trump Accounts established as of Oct. 1, 2026 via automatic enrollment. IRS Commissioner stated 25 million accounts could receive funding by mid-October, but this is a projection requiring parents to claim accounts first.
70M accounts established is accurate. But 25M 'funded' conflates a mid-October projection with current achievement; actual funded accounts are far fewer as of the speech date.
