“We committed to children America we were going to contribute $6,250,000,000 $250, to 25,000,000 Trump accounts for children”

What the record shows
Michael and Susan Dell pledged $6.25 billion ($250 per child for 25 million children) to Trump Accounts on December 2, 2025. As of late August 2026, approximately 7 million accounts had been established; the $250 Dell contributions were being distributed starting September 2026.
The figures are accurate, but stating 'we have funded' 10-25 million accounts presents a pledge as an accomplished fact. The commitment is real but incomplete.
