“The Alaska LNG project will be the largest energy infrastructure project built in fifty years”
MISLEADING
What the record shows
Alaska LNG is estimated at $44.5-54.5 billion (Glenfarne, June 2026). SunZia wind/transmission ($11B) is already operational and called 'largest renewable energy infrastructure project ever built.' California High-Speed Rail ($106B) is larger. Alaska LNG remains in pre-construction phase with no final investment decision.
