“Just last month, we delivered $648,000,000 to more than 1,600 fire departments and first responders”
MOSTLY TRUE
What the record shows
FEMA awarded $648 million to more than 1,600 fire departments and first responder organizations; announcement released September 30, 2026 (15 days ago, not 'last month').
Dollar amount and recipient count are exact. Timing language 'just last month' is imprecise—announcement was mid-September, not a full month ago.
