“I've reduced the flow of Fentanyl across our southern border by 67%”
MISLEADING
What the record shows
CBP fentanyl seizures at southern border fell 45-46% from FY2024 to FY2025; however, seizures do not measure total fentanyl flow. No agency publishes a 67% flow reduction figure. Recent 2026 data shows seizures up 1% year-over-year.
The 67% figure does not match any published government seizure data. Seizures are not equivalent to flow reduction, and no authoritative measure of total flow exists.
