What the record shows
Bisignano earned approximately $23.8 million total compensation at Fiserv in 2024 (salary $1.4M plus $22M in stock awards). As SSA Commissioner since May 2025, his federal salary is approximately $221,900 annually.
The $35 million prior salary is unsupported by SEC filings or compensation disclosures. Actual Fiserv compensation was $23.8M-$27.9M annually as CEO, not $35M. The salary cut is real but the baseline figure is materially overstated.
