“Built more than a century ago in '21, this is the largest reflecting pool in the world”
MISLEADING
What the record shows
The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool was completed in 1922 (not 1921). It is one of the largest reflecting pools in the world, but not definitively 'the largest'—comparable pools exist internationally (e.g., Taj Mahal, Versailles). No single authoritative global registry confirms it as #1.
Year off by one; 'largest in the world' is unverified and likely overstated relative to other major pools globally.
