What the record shows
ICE data shows approximately 13,099 noncitizens convicted of homicide on its non-detained docket as of July 2024. However, DHS states the vast majority entered prior to the Biden administration, many are incarcerated, and the docket includes legal immigrants and visa holders, not just border crossers.
